Animal lover and vegan, Lisa De Niscia grew up in New Jersey and now resides on a hill that overlooks the Los Angeles Harbor. Lisa graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in English and MA in Creative Writing. She also has an MA in Gender/Cultural Studies from Simmons University in Boston. Lisa was an adult literacy coordinator at the Los Angeles Public Library, and she is also the founder and CEO of Whitepoint Press. When not crusading for animals or promoting women’s rights, she enjoys nurturing her garden.
