Nazifa Islam grew up in Novi, Michigan. Her poetry, paintings, and fiction have appeared in Boston Review, Gulf Coast, The Account, Bennington Review, Blue Mesa Review, Entropy, and Liminal Stories among other publications. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in English and from Oregon State University with her MFA. While in London, she visited not one but two of Sylvia Plath’s houses in Primrose Hill. She regularly updates her website and can be found on Twitter
